Fla. Coverage Actions Stayed Pending Resolution of State Court Case, MDL Rulings

TAMPA, Fla. - Two Florida federal court declaratory judgment actions have been stayed pending resolution of similar, reciprocal proceedings that were filed in other courts to determine coverage obligations for Chinese drywall damage. Mid-Continent Casualty Co. v. Medallion Homes Gulf Coast Inc., et al., No. 10-1595; Southern-Owners Insurance Co. v. Alpha Homes Inc., No. 10-1590 (M.D. Fla.).
