RICHMOND, Va. - The Virginia Supreme Court has denied a petition to appeal a lower court's decision to consolidate numerous state court Chinese drywall cases for trial. Venture Supply Inc., et al. v. Nguyen, et al., No. 101314 (Va. Sup. Ct.).
The state high court said in an Oct. 28 decision that it found no reversible error in Norfolk City Circuit Court Judge Mary Jane Hall's order setting four groups of five drywall cases for trial beginning in January 2011.
