NORFOLK, Va. - A Virginia developer has sued two insurers to recover a nearly $5 million arbitration award against a company that installed Chinese drywall in two of the developer's construction projects. Dragas Management Corp. v. The Hanover Insurance Co., et al., No. 10-547 (E.D. Va.).
Dragas Management Corp. filed the declaratory judgment action Nov. 3 in U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, seeking recovery of the award from Hanover Insurance Co. and Citizens Insurance Co. of America, which insured installer The Porter-Blaine Co. under several policies.
