JPML Won't Reconsider Decision to Deny Transfer of Drywall Coverage Cases

WASHINGTON, D.C. - The Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation has refused to reconsider its recent decision to deny transfer of several Florida Chinese drywall coverage actions to MDL 2047. In Re: Chinese-Manufactured Drywall Products Liability Litigation, MDL No. 2047 (JPML).

In an order released Oct. 7, the JPML ruled the petitioners failed to present any circumstances compelling it to take a second look at an Aug. 9 ruling that vacated conditional transfer of four declaratory judgment actions filed by Mid-Continent Casualty Co.
