COVINGTON, La. - A state court judge has awarded Clarendon America Insurance Co. summary judgment in a Chinese drywall case, determining the insurer owes no duty to defend or indemnify a developer under policies issued to a construction company that built more than a dozen drywall-damaged homes in Louisiana. Brown v. Chinchuba Creek Garden Homes LLC, et al., No. 2009-13447 (La. Dist. Ct., St. Tammany Prsh.).
