MIAMI - A state court judge has given final approval to a settlement between builder South Kendall Construction Corp. and a class of Florida homeowners whose residences were damaged by drywall supplied by Banner Supply Co. Harrell v. South Kendall Construction Co., et al., No. 09-08401 CA (42) (Fla. Cir. Ct., Miami-Dade Cty.).
Miami-Dade Circuit Court Judge Joseph P. Farina signed off on the deal, determining that the creation of the $6.6 million settlement fund to pay claims of approximately 150 potential class members was fair and reasonable.
