SAN FRANCISCO - A federal appeals court has opted not to weigh in on a dispute over a judge's decision to transfer a Chinese drywall insurance coverage dispute from California to Florida. In RE: Taylor Morrison Inc., No. 10-71045 (9th Cir.).
The 9th Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals on May 20 denied a petition for writ of mandamus filed by Taylor Morrison Inc., which had argued that the court's decision to grant a venue transfer ignored most of the undisputed facts that favored keeping the case out of Florida.
