MIAMI - A Florida judge has certified a class of more than 150 homeowners whose properties were allegedly damaged by defective Chinese drywall. Harrell v. South Kendall Construction Corp., et al., No. 09-008401 CA (42) (Fla. Cir. Ct., Miami-Dade Cty.).
Miami-Dade County Circuit Court Judge Joseph P. Farina ruled May 27 that a case brought by plaintiffs who purchased homes from South Kendall Construction Corp. (SKCC) that contain drywall supplied by Banner Supply Co. may proceed as a class action.
