MIAMI - A class action filed by Florida residents whose homes were damaged by allegedly defective drywall has been put on the docket for trial beginning in June. Harrell, et al. v. South Kendall Construction Corp., et al., No. 09-08401-CA-01 (Fla. Cir. Ct., Miami-Dade Cty.).
Judge Joseph P. Farina issued an amended case management order April 19, indicating that the three-week trial will commence June 1, with opening statements getting underway on June 7.
