JPML Transfers Insurance Action to Drywall Products MDL

WASHINGTON, D.C. - The Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation (JPML) has, for the first time, permitted the transfer of an insurance declaratory judgment action to the Chinese Drywall Products Liability MDL in New Orleans. In Re: Chinese-Manufactured Drywall Products Liability Litigation, MDL No. 2047 (E.D. La.); Owners Insurance Co., et al v. The Mitchell Co., et al., No. 09-374 (M.D. Ga.) (JPML).
