NEW ORLEANS - A Louisiana couple has sued their homeowners' insurer after it refused to pay for remediation of their $750,000 home that they claim was damaged by Chinese drywall. Bronaugh v. USAA Casualty Insurance Co., No. 09-07393 (E.D. La.).
The complaint, filed in October in St. Tammany Parish District Court, alleges that USAA Casualty Insurance Co. informed David and Heather Bronaugh that it would be denying coverage for drywall related damages after the Bronoughs told the company they would perform interim repairs on their home.
