NEW ORLEANS - A Louisiana couple has sued their homeowners' insurer for denying their request to pay for Chinese drywall-related damage to their nearly $2 million home. Finger v. Audubon Insurance Co., No. 09-8071 (La. Dist. Ct., Orleans Prsh.).
Simon and Rebecca Finger filed their Petition for Damages on Aug. 4 in Orleans Parish District Court, alleging that Audubon Insurance Co. failed to meet its obligations under an all-risk insurance policy that covered the Finger's home and $1.4 million in contents.
