NEW ORLEANS - A property management company that owns 42 homes in Louisiana has sued the companies that built them and others they say are responsible for damage caused by allegedly defective Chinese drywall. Slidell Property Management v. Knauf Gips KG, et al., No. 09-6068 (E.D. La.).
The Sept. 2 lawsuit was filed in U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana by Slidell Property Management, which says it purchased 42 houses in Slidell, La., that now require repair and reconstruction as a result of drywall-related sulfur contamination.
