COVINGTON, La. - A homebuilder that claims it purchased defective drywall from Interior/Exterior Building Supply has moved to certify a class of similar companies that installed the product in homes throughout Louisiana. Sunrise Construction and Development, et al. v. Interior/Exterior Building Supply, No. 200912196 (La. Dist. Ct., St. Tammany Prsh., 22nd Dist.).
Sunrise Construction and Development filed the motion for class certification July 23 in St. Tammany Parish District Court, where it sued Interior/Exterior in April.
