LAS VEGAS - A class action lawsuit has been filed in Nevada, seeking damages for personal injury and property damage caused by Chinese manufactured drywall. Moniz, et al., v. US Home Corp., et al., No. A-09-597564 (Nev. Dist. Ct., Clark Cty.).
The complaint, filed Aug. 20 in Clark County District Court, was brought on behalf of a putative class of thousands of Nevada residents whose homes were built with allegedly defective drywall that the lawsuit says was manufactured from waste material containing fly ash.
