Judge Transfers Fla. Chinese Drywall Cases, HarrisMartin Reports

MIAMI - Chinese drywall cases pending in Miami-Dade County's complex business division have been transferred to a single judge for coordinated pre-trial proceedings, according to HarrisMartin Publishing's Chinese Drywall Litigation Report. In Re: Chinese Drywall Cases, No. n/a (Fla. Cir. Ct., Miami-Dade Cty.).

Saying coordination of the complex issues associated with the Chinese Drywall litigation would be "impossible" if the cases remain in multiple divisions of the court, Miami-Dade County Circuit Court Judge Jennifer D. Bailey on July 29 administratively transferred more than 40 cases to Judge Joseph P. Farina.
