Drywall Supplier Files Third-Party Action Against Building Materials Co.

PENSACOLA, Fla. - A drywall supplier named as a defendant in a homebuilder's class action against Chinese drywall manufacturers and several other suppliers has filed a third-party complaint against a building materials company that it says sold the allegedly defective product. The Mitchell Company Inc. v. Knauf GIPS KG, et al., No. 09-89 (N.D. Fla.).

The May 14 complaint filed in U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Florida is derivative of a lawsuit brought in March by The Mitchell Company Inc. against several companies, including Rightway Drywall Inc.
