NEW ORLEANS - The head coach of the National Football League's New Orleans Saints has filed a lawsuit in federal court, claiming that Chinese drywall installed in his home caused property damage and a variety of physical ailments. Peyton v. Knauf GIPS KG, et al., No. 09-3424 (E.D. La.).
Sean Peyton and his wife, Beth, filed the complaint May 1 in U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana. The 20-count lawsuit names about a dozen defendants that manufactured and supplied the drywall used to build his Tammany Parish home.
