WATERBURY, Conn. - A Connecticut state judge has ordered a group of unauthorized reinsurers to post approximately $5.6 million in security, plus interest, to secure any judgment rendered in favor of plaintiff Hartford Accident and Indemnity Co. Hartford Accident and Indemnity Co. v. Ace American Reinsurance Co., No. (X02)CV030178122S (Conn. Super., Waterbury).
On Sept. 19, Judge Dennis G.
