INDIANAPOLIS - An Indiana appeals court has remanded a bad faith action brought against Swiss Reinsurance Corp. by a policyholder seeking coverage for a securities action, ruling that the trial court failed to indicate whether it dismissed the case or granted the defendants summary judgment. Harcharik v. Swiss Reinsurance Corp., et al., No. 29A04-0805-CV-310 (Ind. App.).
The Indiana Court of Appeals, led by Judge L. Mark Bailey, ruled on Sept. 5 that it is unable to address the merits of the case at this time.
