Lawrence Brandes, Harry Cohen, Will Leave Cadwalader

Reinsurance and arbitration specialists Lawrence Brandes and Harry Cohen, who are currently partners at Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft, have announced that they plan to leave the New York-based firm. Mr. Brandes will join the New York office of DLA Piper and Mr. Cohen will move to Crowell & Moring in New York.
David Willis has been appointed managing partner at London-based Herbert Smith. He has previously held a number of senior management positions at the firm, including his roles as head of its Asia operations and financial institutions group.
