WASHINGTON, D.C. — A federal judge has ordered the U.S. Small Business Administration to produce records identifying businesses that received public assistance as part of the government’s efforts to address the economic ramifications of the COVID-19 pandemic.

In a Nov. 24 order, Judge James E. Boasberg of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia ordered the SBA to release the names, addresses, and precise loan amounts for all individuals and entities that obtained COVID-related loans by Dec. 1.
