Law Firm, Property Manager Sue Cincinnati Insurance for COVID-19 Losses

DALLAS — A law firm with offices in Dallas and Atlanta, joined by a Dallas property owner, have sued The Cincinnati Insurance Co. in an effort to recoup more than $300,000 in losses and expenses they allegedly sustained as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic and related government closure orders.

In an Oct. 30 complaint filed in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas, Ferrer Poirot & Wansbrough and 2603 Oak Lawn LP contend that their insured properties experienced “accidental loss or accidental damage” as required by the policy.
