N.Y. Strip Club Says COVID-19, Closure Orders Triggered Coverage

NEW YORK — The owners of a Long Island, N.Y., strip club has sued their insurers for coverage of business interruption losses they incurred when they were forced to temporarily suspend operations in compliance with government COVID-19-related shutdown orders.

In an Oct. 1 class action complaint filed in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York, 2 Group Inc. and 42-50 21st Realty LLC say the virus and orders triggered coverage under the policy, issued by United National Insurance Co. and Global Indemnity Group Inc.
