Slot Machine Vendor Sues Insurers for Coverage of COVID-19 Business Losses

LAS VEGAS — A Las Vegas slot machine vendor has sued its insurers in federal court, seeking coverage for business interruption losses it sustained when COVID-19 stay-at-home orders temporarily closed all “non-live sustaining businesses,” including casinos.
In a May 20 complaint filed in the U.S. District Court for the District of Nevada, Gaming Entertainment Touch Tech contends that it has suffered physical loss and damage to its property that is covered under its policy issued by Ohio Casualty Insurance Co., Ohio Security Insurance Co., and Liberty Mutual Insurance Co.
