ORLANDO, Fla. — Several Florida small businesses have sued the Small Business Administration and administrator Jovita Carranza of unlawfully changing the requirements of the CARES Act’s Economic Injury Disaster Loan (EIDL) and EIDL grant program.
In an April 17 complaint filed in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida, plaintiffs accuse defendants of making them wait days for a $10,000 grant that, under the terms of the CARES Act, must be awarded within 3 days.
