MIAMI — An Arizona couple has sued a cruise line in Florida federal court, accusing it of proceeding with a 20-day transatlantic voyage while concealing a COVID-19 outbreak on its vessel from passengers and failing to take measures to prevent the spread of the virus.
In an April 14 complaint filed in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida, James and Kelea allege Costa Crociere S.P.A. and Costa Cruise Lines Inc. subjected more than 2,000 and crew to risk of contamination and death.
