OKLAHOMA CITY — A reinsurer has moved for default judgment in an action in which it is disclaiming its obligation to provide coverage to a telecommunications company and its employee for a 2016 deadly vehicle accident, arguing that neither party has responded to the summons.
In a Feb. 5 motion filed in the U.S. District for the Western District of Oklahoma, Star Insurance Co. contends that neither K&J Telecommunications LLC nor its employee have filed an answer or otherwise pleaded or defended the action within the time required.
