NEW YORK — An interim final award has been issued in a $3.85 million reinsurance dispute involving underlying workers’ compensation losses, according to the parties’ joint status report.

According to the March 14 report, filed jointly by National Union Fire Insurance Company of Pittsburgh and Federal Insurance Co. in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, the arbitration panel has directed the parties to meet and confer by March 29 regarding an outstanding issue not resolved in the award.
