Vantage Says it Should Be Permitted to File Amended Complaint in $26 Million Reinsurance Case

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Vantage Commodities Financial Services Inc. is urging a District of Columbia federal judge to allow it to file an amended complaint against a group of reinsurers in a lawsuit in which it seeks payment of a $26 million judgment.
In a Sept. 17 reply filed before Trevor N. McFadden of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia, Vantage says it should have a change to effect proper service on the reinsurers so the court can adjudicate the merits of its claims.
