EL PASO, Texas — The defendants in a dispute over the estate of a Texas car dealer are urging a federal judge to dismiss RICO claims asserted against them, arguing that the plaintiff reinsurers have not adequately pled predicate acts of mail and wire fraud.
In their July 23 response, the defendants maintain that Magistrate Judge Leon Schydlower’s report and recommendation should be adopted because his analysis of the complaint and relevant law was thorough and correct.
