Mediation Scheduled in $976,641 Reinsurance Dispute Against Munich Re

FORT MYERS, Fla. — A mediation conference has been scheduled in an action in which a Florida risk management pool alleges Munich Reinsurance America Inc. must contribute toward a $750,000 settlement of a lawsuit brought against a Florida city.

According to a June 6 notice filed in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida, the mediation conference is set for Nov. 13 in front of mediator John S. Freud.
