NEW YORK — The parties in an action accusing Applied Underwriters Captive Risk Assurance Co. and its affiliates of carrying out a fraudulent workers’ compensation scheme have asked a New York federal judge to extend the discovery deadlines by four months in light of two similar cases pending in California federal court.
