Home Liquidator Seeks to Assert Additional Claim of $362,788 Against Reinsurer in N.Y. Federal Action

NEW YORK — In a dispute over reinsurance proceeds allegedly owed to the estate of The Home Insurance Co., the insurer’s liquidator has informed a New York federal judge that it intends to seek leave to amend its complaint against reinsurer Tryg Forsikring A/S to assert an additional claim of $362,787.84.

In an April 28 letter filed in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, the liquidator added that it will also seek additional security in that amount.
