HARTFORD, Conn. — A Connecticut federal judge has refused to reconsider her denial of Century Indemnity Co.’s motion to compel Travelers Insurance Co. to produce communications with its in-house counsel regarding a reinsurance billing arising from Travelers’ settlement of asbestos claims asserted against Crane Co.

On Jan. 10, Judge Janet C. Hall of the U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut held that Century failed to show good cause for its delay in filing the proposed motion to compel production.
