Chubb Asks N.Y. Judge to Deny Endurance Re’s Discovery Motion in Tortious Interference Action

NEW YORK — Chubb INA Holdings Inc. is urging a New York judge to deny Endurance Reinsurance Corporation of America’s request to compel Chubb to produce documents in a tortious interference action before the court has an opportunity to address Chubb’s request to stay the action pending Chubb’s motion to dismiss.
In a Dec. 16 letter filed in the New York County Supreme Court, Chubb argues that the outcome of its pending motion to dismiss or stay will dramatically impact the scope of the action and dictate what, if any, information must be disclosed.
