Canal Seeks to Amend Suit to Add Recipient of Alleged Fraudulent Transfer

ATLANTA — Canal Insurance Co. is seeking to amend its complaint accusing Golden Isles Reinsurance Co. of draining its assets through fraudulent cash transfers to add an individual defendant who allegedly received one of those transfers.

In an Aug. 2 motion to amend filed in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Atlanta, Canal asserts that adding Lou Crosby as a defendant will not unduly prejudice the parties at this early stage of the litigation.
