Canal Asks Ga. Federal Judge to Compel Golden Isles to Reveal Recipient of Alleged Fraudulent Transfer

ATLANTA — Canal Insurance Co. has asked a Georgia federal judge to compel Golden Isles Reinsurance Company Ltd. to reveal the recipient of an alleged fraudulent transfer taken from funds set aside to pay Golden Isles’ obligations to canal under workers’ compensation reinsurance agreements.
In a June 15 motion filed in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia, Canal says Golden Isles has refused to reveal the identity of the individual who received $547,721.97 from Golden Isles’ account.
