NEW YORK — A New York federal judge has denied Acumen Re Management Co.’s bid to appeal an order awarding a reinsurer partial summary judgment in a dispute over contingency fees, ruling that Acumen has failed to articulate a controlling question of law as to which there is substantial ground for difference of opinion.
