TIG, EIFlow Resolve $2 Million Dispute Over Reinsurance for Azusa Landfill Settlement

CONCORD, N.H. — TIG Insurance Co. has settled a lawsuit in which it sought more than $2 million in proceeds from an Irish reinsurer for an underlying settlement of environmental claims arising from a California landfill.
According to a Feb. 16 stipulation of dismissal filed in the U.S. District Court for the District of New Hampshire, TIG and the defendant reinsurer EIFlow Ltd. agreed to dismissal of the claims with prejudice, with each party to bear its own fees and costs.
