Bench Trial Scheduled in Limit-of-Liability Dispute Between Munich Re, Utica Mutual

SYRACUSE, N.Y. — A New York federal judge has scheduled a bench trial in a dispute between Munich Reinsurance America Inc. and Utica Mutual Insurance Co. over the limits of liability of two facultative reinsurance certificates.

In a Jan. 8 order, Judge Brenda K. Sannes of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of New York set Oct. 24 for the bench trial and required that all pretrial submissions be filed by Oct. 3.
