CHICAGO — St. Paul Fire & Marine Insurance Co. is urging an Illinois federal court to transfer a reinsurance action to Pennsylvania, arguing that the forum is more convenient for the parties and witnesses.
In its Dec. 15 brief filed in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, St. Paul refutes R&Q’s assertion that because the reinsurance contracts at issue were negotiated in Chicago, the case should remain in Illinois.
