TRENTON, N.J. — A Brazilian policyholder has renewed its motion to dismiss claims asserted against it by National Indemnity Co. in a dispute over $9 million in premium for a 2008 retrocessional contract, asserting a lack of personal jurisdiction.
In its Dec. 17 motion filed in the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey, Companhia Siderurgica Nacional S.A. (CSN) argued that there is not a single fact alleged in NICO’s complaint that would permit the court to find that CSN is subject to the jurisdiction of New Jersey courts.
