NEW YORK — A New York federal judge has scheduled a settlement conference in a claims servicing dispute between American Claims Management Inc. and Starr Indemnity & Liability Co., explaining that resolution of the matter will obviate the necessity of a second trial on the issue of punitive damages.
In a Nov. 23 order, Judge Jesse M. Furman of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York ordered the parties to appear for a conference on Dec. 10.
