Odyssey Re Renews Motion for Summary Judgment in $2.7 Million Commissions Dispute

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. — Odyssey Reinsurance Corp. has renewed its motion for summary judgment in a case involving more than $2.4 million in adjusted reinsurance commissions, arguing that no material issue of fact exists as to whether it breached the reinsurance agreement at issue.
In a Sept. 9 motion filed in the U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut, Odyssey Re asserts that Cal-Regent Insurance Services Corp. does not dispute that it owes the commissions.
