OneBeacon Opposes Magistrate Judge’s Recommendation that Insurance Dispute be Remanded

DALLAS — OneBeacon Insurance Co. has opposed a Texas federal magistrate judge’s recommendation that a case in which Celanese Corp. has accused Resolute Management Inc. of delaying payment of claims submitted under liability policies be remanded.

In its June 10 opposition filed in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas, OneBeacon asserts that the doctrine of collateral estoppel defeats Celanese’s sole viable claim against Resolute.
