CONCORD, N.H. — EIFlow Insurance Ltd. has moved for judgment on the pleadings in a $2 million reinsurance action filed by TIG Insurance Co., arguing that the claims are time-barred under New Hampshire law.
In its May 26 motion filed in the U.S. District Court for the District of New Hampshire, EIFlow contends that TIG’s claim accrued in 2009 when it paid its policyholder and, as such, it is foreclosed by the state’s three-year statute of limitations.
