EIFlow Accepts Service of TIG’s Complaint, TIG Withdraws Demand for Pre-Pleading Security

CONCORD, N.H. — EIFlow Insurance Ltd. has agreed to accept TIG Insurance Co.’s service of a complaint seeking $2 million in reinsurance proceeds for TIG’s settlement of underlying environmental claims.
According to a May 8 order filed by Judge Joseph N. Laplante of the U.S. District Court for the District of New Hampshire, EIFlow has withdrawn its motion to dismiss the action and to quash substituted service. And TIG has withdrawn its demand that EIFlow post $2,099,684 in pre-pleading security.
