TIG Opposes EIFlow’s Motion to Quash Service of $2 Million Reinsurance Complaint

CONCORD, N.H. — TIG Insurance Co. is opposing EIFlow Insurance Ltd.’s motion to quash service of a complaint seeking $2 million in reinsurance proceeds, arguing that the lawsuit was properly served on both the law firm of Mendes & Mount and the New Hampshire insurance commissioner.
In its March 26 opposition filed in the U.S. District Court for the District of New Hampshire, TIG asserts that EIFlow’s objections to service “are merely a ploy to avoid paying the required statutory security for the amounts it owes” TIG.
