N.Y. Federal Judge Confirms Interim Award in Quota Share Reinsurance Dispute

NEW YORK — A New York federal judge has confirmed an interim arbitration award in a dispute arising from a quota share treaty issued by Employers Insurance of Wausau to two cedents, explaining that the parties have resolved any disputes not addressed in the award.

On March 10, Judge Valerie Caproni of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York confirmed the award, which addressed contract interpretation issues.
